3-3 road trip through NY and Boston, not too shabby. Angels lose today to end their trip 3-3, so Texas manages to lose no ground on their divisional lead. Guys to discuss: • Vicente Padilla: We all know that it's in him to throw in the mid-90s and work through jams against good hitters, but there it was again today. What do you make of this guy? • David Murphy: He was a line drive machine today with three hits and another rope that was caught. • Nelson Cruz: He had three hits as well and with his 17th HR is now tied for the league lead with former Rangers Carlos Pena and Mark Teixeira. • Michael Young: He had the only two hits yesterday. Today one of his two hits was his 8th HR, which puts him on pace to approach 20 for the first time in four years.
