I think the Rangers are allergic to sweeping.  Or maybe they just want to lull the rest of the league into submission.  I don’t know, but I’d like to see more sweeps.  Sweeps are fun. But apparently my boys don’t enjoy them.  Scott Feldman spoiled the one of Minnesota on Sunday, and Matt Harrison did the damage in tonight’s game against the Rays. It really just wasn’t Matty’s night.  Six runs in the first two innings.  He settled down a bit after that, but it didn’t really matter.  Six runs is a lot to overcome.  In the end, Harrison lasted 5.1 innings, giving up seven runs on 12 hits. Home runs from Mitch Moreland and Josh Hamilton were enjoyable, but on the whole, there wasn’t much offense to speak of.  The Rangers scored four times on nine hits.  It was a pretty quiet game for the bats.  Other than those two big hits, of course.  But unless the bases are loaded, two home runs will not overcome a six-run defecit.
