Ravens star free safety Ed Reed landed awkwardly on top of a Houston Texans player's foot in the fourth quarter, suffering a rib contusion. However, the former NFL Defensive Player of the Year returned to play Sunday in the Ravens' 43-13 loss to the Texans at Reliant Stadium. Afterward, Reed downplayed the severity of the injury. "It was my rib and kidney, I think they said I took a cleat," Reed said. "It felt like I fell on a shoe or something. It's just really sore right now. It hurt like heck when I was out there. "I just hoped nothing was broken and I didn't feel like anything was broken. It just kind of cut my wind a little bit, but I'll be all right." Reed didn't appear to have trouble with the torn labrum in his shoulder that he complained of last week and hasn't been listed on the Ravens' official injury report, causing the NFL to look into the matter. Reed had six tackles against the Texans Ravens coach John Harbaugh had a similar take on the injury, saying: "It looked like a rib contusion kind of a deal, but I haven't heard the finaly say on that." Is the Baltimore Ravens offense or defense struggling more?

The Baltimore Ravens are entering their bye week off of, quite frankly, an embarrassing loss to the Houston Texans that finally brought out their weaknesses for the world to see. All season we have talked about how much the defense has struggled, more specifically with the run, but let's not forget that the Baltimore offense has only put up 45 total points in three road games...

Joe Flacco Grave Disappointment vs. Houston

Baltimore QB Joe Flacco stunk up the joint with an awful 147-yard performance Sunday at Houston.Fantasy Spin:Flacco has been brilliant at home this season, completing 94 of 140 passes for seven TD and a 106.6 quarterback rating. Unfortunately, this game was played on the road, where Flacco has a QB rating of just 55.9. Flacco and the Ravens will have a bye next week before returning...

With Ray Lewis possibly gone for the rest of the season, the Baltimore Ravens will have to hope that linebacker Terrell Suggs will be able to fill in for his absence. Suggs hasn't played a game this season due to a tore Achilles tendon but it believed that he might play against the Houston Texans later today. During the week, Suggs decided to play a prank on Ravens reporter...

Suggs Sack About It For The Ravens In The First Half

Terrell Suggs has already been a bigger factor in Baltimore’s defense than anyone had reason to expect. in the first half in Houston, he notched a sack. He played in a large share of the defensive snaps and has ever been playing pass coverage. With Haloti Ngata having left, Suggs might be just about all Baltimore has left in its once-exalted defense. With way too much dependent...

Suggs Downgraded To Game-Time Call

Suggs (Achilles) was activated from the team's physically unable to perform list on Saturday.Fantasy Spin:We assumed the activation meant Suggs would play but apparently that's not necessarily the case. If Suggs sits, Albert McClellan would likely get the start in his place.

The Good, The Bad and The Ugly: Ravens Edition

The Houston Texans hosted the Baltimore Ravens in a game that had immediate and future implications on the seating in the AFC. In this game, both teams were playing for the top seed in the AFC. Monday musings: Joe Morgan’s touchdown, the Ravens fall flat, Chris Johnson’s breakout, and other things I noticed

Chris Johnson managed to get himself to the edge early in the game against the Bills showing nice burst to get an impressive touchdown. Things must have gone crazy on the Ravens sideline when Terrell Suggs pulled down Matt Schaub in the first quarter. I thought he was crazy to play on one peg, but, …

You know Terrell Suggs is fully back from his off-season Achilles injury when he’s back to doing his usual things, like getting sacks and acting the fool during team photo day.
