Baltimore Ravens receiver Deonte Thompson is being tested for a possible concussion after being hurt in a 23-20 loss to the Buffalo Bills on Sunday.
Coach John Harbaugh said it was too early to determine the severity of the injury because Thompson was still being evaluated. Thompson was hurt in the fourth quarter after making a 33-yard catch along the right sideline.
As he made the catch, Thompson was hit by safety Jim Leonhard, who was penalized for hitting a defenseless receiver.
The Ravens (2-2) are already missing starting receiver Jacoby Jones (knee) and starting tight end Dennis Pitta (hip).
Receiver Marlon Brown and cornerback Lardarius Webb both did not return after hurting their thighs. Harbaugh said both players are being evaluated.

The Baltimore Ravens lost Sunday to the Buffalo Bills and I think quarterback Joe Flacco just threw another interception to my Bernese Mountain Dog, Bruin. Just months after officially tying the knot, the couple took to Instagram on Monday to reveal that they are expecting their first child. And they used a jar of spaghetti sauce as the featured prop.
Well done, guys....
Joe Flacco acknowledged he's still not in sync with the Ravens' new and injury-depleted group of receivers.
He's not getting much help from Baltimore's running attack, either.
The Buffalo Bills exposed the Ravens flaws by intercepting Flacco a career-high five times while allowing a mere 24 yards rushing in a 23-20 win Sunday.
