Ravens running back Ray Rice had just 17 rushing yards on 11 carries and 21 receiving yards on three carries Sunday at Cleveland.Fantasy Spin:The turnaround doesn't seem to be coming for Rice. In seven games, he has just 259 rushing yards on 97 carries (2.7 ypc), 135 receiving yards on 27 catches and three touchdowns. Bernard Pierce has averaged 2.7 ypc as well, so it's likely the Ravens just cannot run block rather than Rice being done as a useful NFL player.

Ravens’ Ray Rice is healthy for the first time all year

Baltimore Ravens running back, Ray Rice, is having a tough year.  He has yet to return to his dominating running style since injuring his hip in Week 2.  Coming out of the bye week, the extra time off served Rice well, as Chris Wesseling of NFL.com reports, Rice is the healthiest he has been all season. Any hip injury is a serious one, however, Rice’s injury was more severe...

Ray Rice was more injured than he let on; now healthy

Just three NFL running backs have accrued at least 75 rushes this season with a per-carry average of fewer than 3 yards. All three will be on the field Sunday when the Baltimore Ravens travel to the Cleveland Browns. It has been even worse for the Ravens, as Ray Rice and Bernard Pierce entered the Week 8 bye ranked first and second in the NFL in percentage of runs that have generated...

Ravens in 'tough spot' entering 2nd half of season

John Harbaugh can't deny it: The defending Super Bowl champion Baltimore Ravens are in a dire situation after losing three straight to fall into third place in the AFC North. ''As it stands, we're in a tough spot,'' Harbaugh acknowledged Monday, less than 24 hours after Baltimore lost to Cleveland 24-18 on Sunday. The Ravens (3-5) hoped their bye-week would...

This won’t go on LarDarius Webb’s career highlight reel.

Kelechi Osemele likely done for year, headed for back surgery

Ravens starting left guard Kelechi Osemele is expected to have back surgery, which will likely end his season and create even more questions for a struggling offensive line. Ravens head coach John Harbaugh made the announcement on Friday, indicating that the team discovered “some changes” with the back injury that Osemele has dealt with since last season. Converted center A...

Browns end 11-game skid vs. Ravens

The Baltimore Ravens don't scare anyone anymore. They don't have the same defense, firepower or swagger. The defending Super Bowl champions are wobbling. Jason Campbell threw three touchdown passes -- two to Davone Bess -- and the Browns ended an 11-game losing streak against Baltimore, beating the Ravens 24-18 on Sunday. Campbell's 3-yard pass to Bess on fourth down...

Joe Haden was Right About Ravens

With the Ravens losing this game 24-18, their season is the one breaking. Losers of four out of five, the Ravens somehow carried their lackluster play after two weeks off and gave their fans the same disastrous result. So an 11-game winning streak over the Browns is snapped. For both John Harbaugh and Joe Flacco, this is the first time they have been beaten by the Browns. This is...

The Week 9 Fantasy Football Support Group: Time To Take A Seat, Ray Rice

I had the No. 12 pick in my 12-team league’s standard snake draft this year, and while making my brief and never accurate list of guys I planned to target and draft in the first three rounds, I had Dez Bryant and Chris Johnson tabbed as my first two picks. I ended up with LeSean McCoy and Ray Rice, which was incredible to me – like Santa Claus knocked up my mom – because these...

Baltimore's Lardarius Webb Gets His Ankles Broken by Cleveland's Davone Bess

Typically when we talk about 'broken ankles' in football it's because someone has been taken to the hospital after getting seriously messed up on a play--not this time. No, on this occasion it was more of the basketball 'breaking ankles' where one guy gets left in the dust after someone puts a move on him--like Cleveland's Davone Bess did to Baltimore'...

Tough loss for Ravens--- Browns 24, Baltimore 18....

Jason Campbell... a difference-maker for the Cleveland Browns... Stop the press!  Mis-played by the Ravens FYI book, the Cleveland offense behind Campbell stole the show.  Jason Campbell threw three touchdown passes -- two to Davone Bess -- and the Browns ended an 11-game losing streak against Baltimore, beating the Ravens 24-18 on Sunday. Campbell's 3-yard...

NFL 2013 NFL Fantasy Football Week 10 Waiver Wire Gems

Okay, now it is time to stop playing nice.  The fantasy season is on the line.  So whether you need an injury replacement, a bye week replacement, are tired of waiting on Ray Rice to score you points, or just trying to prevent the swarmy guy in your league from getting a quality player, these are the men that should be on your radar. Put them on your radar and put them on your...

Halftime score: Browns 14, Ravens 10

Wide receiver Davone Bess has a brutal game against the Chiefs, including a pair of dropped passes and a fumbled punt. The first half was all about his redemption. Bess scored two touchdowns for the first time in his career, and his first two as a member of the Cleveland Browns to help the Browns jump out to a 14-10 lead. Even though Bess found the end zone, it was an amazing catch...

What we think the Browns will do today against the Ravens (Week 9)

Cleveland Browns vs. Baltimore Ravens November 3, 2013 Brian  Browns 23 Ravens 17 Let's remember, the Browns nearly beat the Ravens in Baltimore, with Brandon Weeden and without Josh Gordon. Now, no Weeden and at home...can't really pick against them. Tom  Browns 17 Ravens 10 There will...

Ravens try to jump start the running game with pistol formation

In an attempt to find some way to get their sluggish running game going while also sticking with the three-wide sets that quarterback Joe Flacco has typically thrived in, the Ravens tried something new in Sunday’s 24-18 loss to the Cleveland Browns. For the first time maybe ever, they used the pistol formation. I wrote at length about the pistol before the Ravens played the San...
