Rays Index:
The Rays announced today that they have signed Joel Peralta to a one-year deal, avoiding arbitration.
Peralta’s salary was not released. So let’s just assume that Peralta is going to make $500 magillion kabillion in 2012 and the Rays will suddenly have the biggest payroll in the history of payrolls. Suck on that Yankees!
Actually, Peralta was projected to earn $2 million through arbitration, so his actual salary might be closer to that figure.
