Cougars suffer crushing overtime loss

WASHINGTON STATE WAS hoping to overcome a 10-point fourth-quarter deficit for the second time this year. Instead, the Cougars were saddled with their most demoralizing loss in recent memory when Coleman Petersen converted a 38-yard field goal in overtime to secure a 30-27 Utah victory Saturday at snowy Martin Stadium.
