Boston Red Sox outfielder Conor Jackson left Sunday's game against the Texas Rangers with a bruised right knee.
Making his first start in right field since being acquired from the Oakland Athletics, Jackson was chasing down a fly ball by Ian Kinsler when he ran at full speed into the wall.
Jackson initially stayed in the game after being examined by the team trainer, but the Red Sox replaced him with Darnell McDonald in the fourth inning.
