Washington Redskins wide receiver Josh Morgan told CSNWashington that he underwent three offseason surgeries.  He had surgery performed on his ankle and twice on his hands. “I would say a lot,” Morgan said when asked how much he was limited by he injuries. “But we had one focus and that was winning the Super Bowl. You play through whatever you had to [in order] to get that Super Bowl trophy.” Morgan says he can’t run and is limited in his physical activity right now. “They took the plate and seven screws in my foot out,” Morgan said regarding the ankle he broke in 2011 when he was with the 49ers. Morgan has been injury prone since he stepped into the NFL.  But the Redskins too a chance on his last offseason when they signed him to a two-year, $11.5 million contract.   Need NFL Tickets? var _CI = _CI || {}; (function() { var script = document.createElement('script'); ref = document.getElementsByTagName('script')[0]; _CI.counter = (_CI.counter) ? _CI.counter + 1 : 1; document.write(''); script.type = 'text/javascript'; var _CI = _CI || {}; (function() { var script = document.createElement('script'); ref = document.getElementsByTagName('script')[0]; _CI.counter = (_CI.counter) ? _CI.counter + 1 : 1; document.write(''); script.type = 'text/javascript'; script.src = 'http://widget.crowdignite.com/widgets/27484?_ci_wid=_CI_widget_'+_CI.counter; script.async = true; ref.parentNode.insertBefore(script, ref); })();

Salary cap goes up a bit for the 2013 season

In what was thought o be around $121 million, the NFL salary cap has been set at $123 million for the 2013 season, much to the relief of some cap-strapped teams, reports Ian Rapaport of the NFL.com. After losing a bet she made with her boyfriend, a diehard Washington Redskins fan, she’ll now be forced to give her child the same name as her sworn enemy, Redskins quarterback Robert Griffin III. ...
