DeAngelo Hall plays cornerback for the Washington Redskins, but he fills his role as the team punk much more effectively.  He’d make the All-Punk team if there was such a distinction.  Sunday versus the Steeelers, Hall’s antics were in full effect. The Steelers led 27-12 late in the fourth when Hall and Steelers receiver Emmanuel Sanders got tangled up after Hall pretty much attacked Sanders with neither involved in the play.  After a flag was thrown for unsportsmanlike conduct when Hall took off his helmet, Hall decided that he was going to take the unsportsmanlike to a new level.  We’ll call it verypunksmanlike.  Hall took off his helmet, as you’ll see, kept walking toward the official said a few magic words and even gave him a wagging finger.  A second verypunksmanlike penalty was called, totaling 30 yards and Hall was ejected.  Here’s the play and aftermath. When asked about the play yesterday, Hall refused to discuss it saying that, “I’m not going to discuss that particular play. I’ve got a meeting set up with Commissioner Goodell on Monday. Me and him will talk about it, watch the film, figure out what went down and hopefully get to the bottom of this.”  When a reporter informed Hall that the NFL office is closed on Monday, Hall said, “Well, we’re going to figure something out. I’ve got my agent calling him and trying to set something up.”  I’m pretty sure you’ll have some extra time to “set something up”, DeAngelo.  Are you available next Sunday around 1pm?  I bet you will be.
