Alfred Morris went from unknown rookie last summer, to being on the brink of being one of the premiere running backs in the NFC.
Morris is coming off a rookie season in which he rushed for a Redskins’ single-season rushing record of  1,613 yards.  Morris is hell-bent on not falling off, and told the Washington Post “he wants to prove last year was no fluke.”

Redskins head coach Mike Shanahan has no doubt Morris will repeat the feat.
“there’s no question in my mind that he’s going to be one of the best backs” again this season, Shanahan said recently. “He’s going to be a guy [who] just keeps getting better. . . . Now, can he surpass what he did last year? I can’t answer that. But I would be surprised if he doesn’t have an excellent year.”
