To make room for Potter on the roster, the Redskins released fourth-string quarterback Pat White.
Forbath has a sore groin in his kicking leg. It first flared up in practice on Thursday.
Potter was with the Redskins during the preseason. He was cut on Aug. 26.

Another frustrating defeat left the Washington Redskins with a feeling of disgust after a 38-20 loss to the Green Bay Packers this Sunday afternoon. The Packers moved the ball at will from start to finish, a sight all to familiar to the Redskins faithful. The secondary got picked apart and the defensive line and linebackers were pushed around. Leaving Defensive Coordinator Jim Haslett...
Week 2 in the NFL has already started and for the Washington Redskins the question looms: Is Robert Griffin III ready for the Green Bay Packers? Tape from week 1 has lead experts to call into account RGIII’s mechanics. Even to the untrained eye it was apparent that RGIII was not stepping into or following through on his throws properly, especially early on against the...
Robert Griffin the third, quarterback for the Washington Quarterback, made an inspiring comeback from a devastating ACL tear in his right leg last year. Maybe it’s his exciting style of play, or his tenacious refusal to quit that makes me want to root for him. While watching him play last week though, I couldn’t help but wonder if he will be more of a detriment to his team...
Washington Redskins quarterback Kirk Cousins is known as quite the frugal spender according to Larry Brown Sports. SO much so, that he doesn’t even own a car. Yes, you read that correctly. The quarterback was on former teammates Chris Cooley radio show on ESPN 980, and openly admitted that he doesn’t own a car. “Kirk […]
The 27-year old Pat White earned a roster spot with Washington this summer after being unemployed for two seasons. White was listed as the Redskins fourth string Quarterback.
According to ESPN 980 in D.C., White is looking at unemployment once again.
Pat White will be released by #Redskins two sources say. Has to clear waivers.

As previously noted on That NBA Lottery Pick, Kevin Durant is a huge Washington Redskins fan and earlier today, he decided to make the trip to Lambeau Field to watch the Redskins play the Green Bay Packers.
Check out some of the images of Durant at the game and an interview done by CSN Washington:
Lifelong #Redskins fan, NBA star @KDTrey5 at Lambeau to rep the burgundy and gold!...
Redskins receiver Pierre Garcon saw 13 targets and finished with 143 yards and a touchdown on eight catches Sunday at Green Bay.Fantasy Spin:Leonard Hankerson caught two second-half touchdowns in Week 1 but Garcon is the undisputed No. 1 receiver on this team.
When Washington quarterback Robert Griffin III stepped on the field for the first time since blowing out his knee in January he looked like a guy whose recovery is still a work in progress rather than a player who is all the way back.
That’s the word from former NFL quarterback Ron Jaworski who said on ESPN’s NFL Matchup that Griffin isn’t throwing the ball well because he’s...
Lambeau Field was the setting today to host the (0-1) Green Bay Packers and the visiting (0-1) Washington Redskins. Which team would walk away with a disappointing 0-2 start? The answer simply put, the Washington Redskins.Kevin Durant of the NBA’s Oklahoma City Thunder was on hand in Green Bay Wisconsin in support of his favorite NFL team Washington Redskins, but not...
Joe Buck and Troy Aikman will be at Lambeau Field on Sunday when the Washington Redskins visit the Green Bay Packers. Both teams took tough losses and week 1 and it will be a dog fight to avoid the dreaded 0-2 start. Since 1990, only 12 percent of team that started 0-2 have gone on to make the playoffs. Here are my 3 keys to the game: RG3's confidence – We all saw Robert...
Washington Redskins (0-1) at Green Bay Packers (0-1)
I’ve flip-flopped on this one so many times because it’s tough to know what to expect from Robert Griffin. Robert Griffin threw 4 interceptions all last regular season. Now he has 4 interceptions in his last 2 games combined, including the playoff loss to Seattle. It’s worth noting that Tom Brady had one of the worst seasons...
Kevin Durant would like to thank Aaron Rodgers for his enjoyable day of Washington Redskins' football.
Handing out labels following Skins games. This time a 38-20 loss at Green Bay, and it wasn’t even that close. Hey, at least Dallas and Philly lost.
Ryan Kerrigan — More QB pressure, as evidenced by two early sacks. Seems to be the only defender that’s worth a ****
Alfred Morris — Didn’t fumble and ran for 107 on 13 carries.
Pierre Garcon — Eight catches for 143...
