The Washington Redskins on Tuesday worked out 18 players including wide receiver Jared Green the son of Hall of Fame cornerback Darrell Green. Jared Green who spent the 2012 season on Carolina’s practice squad signed with the Cowboys this offseason but didn’t survive the final round of roster cuts. The Redskins didn’t immediately sign any of the players that they worked out just after Tuesday morning’s practice. Another notable player that worked out for the Redskins was fourth-year veteran Myron Lewis a cornerback who played for Washington defensive backs coach Raheem Morris when Morris served as head coach of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Morris and the Bucs selected Lewis in the third round of the 2010 draft out of Vanderbilt. Lewis appeared in 28 games from 2010-12 (starting one of them) and recording 19 tackles and three pass deflections.
