PLAYERS: Allen Iverson
Allen Iverson‘s time on the court may be over, but his time in court is not quite complete. In June, Iverson was threatened with jail time after failing to pay his $8,000/month child support payments for he and his ex-wife, Tawanna‘s five children. Iverson eventually handed over the $40,000 in back support that he owed, but his ex-wife doesn’t want to see history repeat itself. According to TMZ, Tawanna has filed court documents asking a judge to make Iverson pay the lump sum of child support upfront for the next 13 years — until their youngest turns 18. All together, that total comes to $1,272,000, and she plans to put the money in a trust for the kids. A court has yet to make a ruling.     Filed under: Entertainment, Headlines, NBA
