Cal running back Brendan Bigelow took Columbus, Ohio by storm last season when he broke off two huge touchdown runs in the 35-28 loss to the Buckeyes. He also apparently picked up a new fan in the process. Yesterday, Bigelow said that after the game, an Ohio State supporter wrote him a letter complimenting him on his performance. He would also go on to say that he still has that letter on his wall.  Here’s one of Bigelow’s big runs from last year’s game: So far this season, Bigelow hasn’t shown the same breakaway ability. However, you can definitely expect him to be ready to go when the Golden Bears take on the Buckeyes this Saturday in Berkeley.  [San Jose Mercury News]
