Alex Marvez of Fox Sports tweets that he’s “hearing” that Doug Pederson is in Kansas City right now finalizing a deal that would make him the next offensive coordinator of the Chiefs. Just landed so not sure if out there — Alex Marvez (@alexmarvez) January 10, 2013   Pederson was with Andy Reid in Philadelphia as his quarterbacks coach for the last two seasons. Some thought that Brad Childress could end as Reid’s offensive coordinator, but he’s reportedly being considered as an assistant of sorts. We’ll have more on this topic as the news becomes available.
