Found October 20, 2013 on Pro Football Zone:
Despite a report  last week that the Giants will allow head coach Tom Coughlin to decide his future,  both sides could end up deciding to mutually part, according to Jason La Canfora of CBS Sports. The Giants situation with Tom Coughlin could lead to a mutual decision to part, as they have yet to win a game but the team makes a point to show proper deference to a man who won two Super Bowls there. If the Giants don’t turn things around and at least fight for their season, I could see Coughlin retiring at the end of the season.   Need NFL Tickets? Loading... No wonder why he sucks. Focus on football!

Peyton Hillis, Michael Cox fantasy football options with Brandon Jacobs likely out

The New York Giants have already dealt with a number of injuries to their backfield this season, and that theme is expected to continue this week with Brandon Jacobs likely out against the Minnesota Vikings. Brandon Jacobs missed practice after suffering a setback

According to Dan Graziano of ESPNNewYork.com,  Giants running back Brandon Jacobs missed Saturday’s practice after suffering a setback and has been listed as questionable for Monday night’s game against the Vikings. Jacobs was held out of Monday’s practice after injuring his hamstring, but that was more for precautionary reasons.  The plan was for him to practice later on...

David Wilson Walks Around Public Wearing a Rabbit's Head. That is All

In a bit of social media that shows that David Wilson really doesn't know what to do with his free time while he waits for further news on his neck and when he'll be football ready, the Giants young running back has taken to posting videos of himself doing seemingly mundane things while wearing a giant rabbit head. No, there's no stated reason...

Justin Tuck says don't blame NY Giants defensive line

Justin Tuck can’t tell you what’s wrong with the least productive pass rush in the NFL and he can’t tell you how to fix it. But the Giants’ veteran defensive end can tell you this: It’s not completely his fault. Heck it’s not all the defensive line’s fault either. “If I was the only one having a bad year numbers wise then you could easily say ‘Justin doesn’t...

Giants hope to keep Adrian Peterson in check

It is rare indeed when a linebacker takes a look across the line of scrimmage and thinks to himself “That guy is so tough he could be one of us.’’ Defensive players usually believe they have the patent on toughness. But not with the running back the winless Giants must deal with Monday night. “Everybody knows that Adrian Peterson is a special player’’ said linebacker...

The St. Paul Pioneer Press reported this week the combined 1-10 record will be the worst winning percentage for a "Monday Night Football" game in history this deep into the season, a stretch that...

Giants beat Vikings for first win

At last. The New York Giants got their first win of the season Monday night by holding Adrian Peterson in check and converting Minnesota mistakes into a 23-7 victory. The Giants began the season with six losses in which they were the team turning over the ball (minus-16 difference) while showing little penchant for playing defense. But against the Vikings (1-5), they were efficient...

Giants RB On The Cover Of Sports Hillis-trated

The narrative of tonight’s game would best be read in a Sam Elliott voice.  No, I’m not talking about those crappy Dodge commercials.  No again, I’m not talking about his turn as the Chupadogra in Marmaduke.  How’d you even know he was that without Wikipedia anyways?  Nah, I’m rocking The Big Lebowski on this one and going with ‘The Stranger’.  Sometimes there’s...

Sloppy Vikings hand Giants first win

Josh Freeman struggled badly in his first opportunity as a Viking and turnovers by others didn’t help. The net result was a 23-7 loss to the previously winless New York Giants.

Giants with stout defense notch first win over the Vikings 23-7

EAST RUTHERFORD, New Jersey– The Giants defensive line kept Vikings new quarterback and addition Josh Freeman very uncomfortable all game. Freeman was very inaccurate completing 20 of his 53 passes with an interception on a wild throw to Giants defensive back Antrel Rolle. Eli Manning finally looked like he had his Giants(1-6) offense under control […]

We are nearly halfway through the season so it is fair to see which head coaches are sitting squarely on the hot seat.1-GREG SCHIANO, BUCCANEERS:  Tampa hasn't won a game yet this year and everything is falling apart.  The whole Josh Freeman saga made the Bucs look bad.  Losing makes them look worse.  It seems as if his deal is wearing thin at T-Bay and a change could be...
