According to one NFL general manager, the current interest in Jets CB Darrelle Revis is “one of the biggest potential trade markets for a player ever,” per Mike Freeman of CBS Sports. “There’s a Revis gold rush forming,” the GM said. Freeman reports that the Jets’ current asking price for Revis is a first- and second-round pick, but notes that they’re unlikely to find that kind of interest given Revis’ contract situation. Freeman adds sources have informed him that the Patriots are “highly interested” in trading for Revis, but it’s unlikely that the Jets would be willing to trade him to a division rival like New England. Freeman also lists the Broncos, 49ers, Bills and Seahawks, as having interest in Revis, but multiple leagues sources have mentioned the Packers have interest in him as well. Revis, 27, is set to make $6 million for the 2013 season, which includes a $3 million roster bonus. He is under contract through 2016, but he can void his contract after the 2013 season, assuming that he doesn’t hold out in the months to come. It’s worth noting that Revis’ contract includes a clause that prevents them using their franchise tag on him when he becomes an unrestricted free agent. The Jets would incur a $9 million cap hit by trading him in the coming months. The post Report: Huge Trade Market For Darrelle Revis appeared first on NFL Trade Rumors -.
