Beyond The Buzzer:
According to Vincent Ellis of the Detroit Free Press, both the Knicks and Lakers are interested in Pistons free agent point guard, Will Bynum.
The five-year NBA veteran had one arguably the best seasons of his career, averaging 9.8 points and 3.6 assists in 18.8 minutes per game off of the Detroit bench. Backing up Brandon Knight at the point, Bynum brought athleticism and speed to the Pistons – something both the Knicks and Lakers could benefit from in their backcourt.
Bynum will become an unrestricted free agent on July 1.

R&B singer Chris Brown has been known to be pretty good at basketball. Brown was somewhere in L.A. getting in a good run when Detroit Pistons second year center Andre Drummond arrived.
Brown must have told Drummond he could stop him from dunking on him, because a few hours later, there was a Vine of Drummond dunking on Brown something nasty.
Both men say it was a joke and planned...
AUBURN HILLS -- It has become a ritual of sports -- something like the Olympics or the World Cup.
Every two years, the media of Detroit gather at the Palace for the grand unveiling of the new Pistons coach. The ceremony is the same -- the Palace employees gather in the atrium and applaud the new coach, while Joe Dumars talks about how convinced he is that this is the right man...
Will Bynum, the pint size PG from the Detroit Pistons is has drawn some interest from the New York Knicks. With his small stature but competitive heart, Will has made a lasting impression on opponents. He is in the same mold as Nate Robinson, without the smooth shooting stroke, but he has the strength and tempo to be a very serviceable back up point for many teams, especially the...
Stop the presses! The Detroit Pistons have hired Maurice “Mo” Cheeks…
Well this is the point Detroit Basketball is at, the Pistons hired the equivalent of the Blue Light Special of coaches. Immediately I thought, come on Gores! (for those that lost interest years ago, the Pistons have a new owner and his name is in fact Tom Gores) This is it? You’re a West Coast billionaire...
Detroit Pistons stud Andre Drummond and Chris Brown totally staged this dunk, but that didn't keep Drummond from absolutely posterizing the rapper.
Tweet One of the most promising rookies of the 2012-2013 NBA season was Detroit Pistons big man Andre Drummond. Despite having a ton of question marks surrounding him in the draft, he showed a ton of potential while on the floor in Detroit. An injury kept him out for a long chunk of time in [...]
Pistons second-year big man Andre Drummond dunked all over artist/entertainer/loser Chris Brown because Chris Brown is a twerp.
Honestly, I’m still trying to figure out why rapper/singer Chris Brown thought it would be a good idea to attempt to block a dunk by Detroit Pistons center Andre Drummond.
However, I don’t question Chris Brown’s motives if it can give us this clip….
A nation of Rihanna fans thank you Andre Drummond…
Pistons’ Andre Drummond joined Chris Brown and Kyrie Irving at a 24 Hour Fitness for some hoops on Wednesday and Brown was brave enough sacrifice his body and let the big man throw down his best poster dunk. It was obviously set up, but entertaining nonetheless.
Insert your own tacky Rihanna joke here.Allow me to set the scene for you. 7-foot Detroit Pistons center Andre Drummond is going up for a dunk. The only thing that stands in his way is 6-foot R&B singer and all around terrible human being Chris Brown. He does about as well as you’d expect on the block, considering Drummond is … ugh, it’s impossible to write up a story...
Joe Dumars, Pistons president of basketball operations, will introduce Maurice Cheeks as the team's new head coach Thursday at 11 a.m.

I’m not sure what brought the pair together at the same gym in Los Angeles but Detroit Pistons big man Andre Drummond and rapper Chris Brown looked to engage in a little one-on-one this past Wednesday night.
During the session according to Yahoo! Sports (and now Drummond and Brown himself) the two decided to get a video of the second year NBA player dunking over the Brown. And...
