From Dwight Howard to Chris Kaman… ok.
According to Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo! Sports, the Los Angeles Lakers, seem to be interested in signing free-agent big man Chris Kaman.
As Dwight Howard leaves Los Angeles, the Lakers and free-agent center Chris Kaman have a growing mutual interest, league sources told Yahoo! Sports.
Discussions are still in the formative stages, but Kaman has a reputation as a hard-working, dependable 7-footer who can fill a needed role.
Kaman played his first eight NBA seasons for the Los Angeles Clippers, and a return to Southern California to join the Lakers has strong appeal to him, a league source told Yahoo! Sports.
Kaman is a solid big man, he averaged 10.5 points and 5.6 rebounds, in just 20 minutes for the Dallas Mavericks last season, but my goodness, no.
The Lakers obviously haven’t learned anything from last season. They were defensively inept for the better part of the season and if Kaman comes on board, that will surely continue.

Opps somebody forgot to tell Dwight that they left up his Lakers Twitter background. There were rumors that Dwight was still considering the Lakers but Dwight obviously didn’t want it confused.
If you haven’t heard yet Dwight Howard is no longer a Los Angeles Laker, and ton of people have bashed Howard for leaving Los Angeles. The latest to do so is NBA great Kareem Abdul-Jabbar. Kareem won 5 titles with the Lakers and is regarded as the best center to play in the NBA by many.
The Following from ESPNLosAngeles.com, as Kareem gives his thoughts about Howard:
It seems the Dwight Howard free agency drama is over. I was going to sit at home last night and wait for Dwight̵…
The Los Angeles Lakers felt that Dwight Howard had already "made up his mind" before even meeting with them on Tuesday, according to a source. The source also described him as "emotionless."
"He would barely look us in the eye," the source said.
A second source from the Lakers said "we felt like we were wasting our time" in the meeting.
After Dallas lost out on the Dwight Howard sweepstakes, star Dirk Nowitzki took to Twitter to make a pretty funny Twitter joke about re-signing another DH.
We talking about Devin Harris…
We worked all summer to get DH to Dallas. Welcome back to the Mavs, Devin Harris….

The circus is over, for real now.
Reports surfaced Friday afternoon that Dwight Howard had decided to sign with the Houston Rockets. Now, there is direct confirmation that the 27-year-old will...
I am sure they don’t mind the fine.
GM Daryl Morey and coach Kevin McHale both publicly spoke about the signing before they technically could.
After missing out on Dwight Howard, the Dallas Mavericks are reportedly exploring ways to make a trade for Sixers center Andrew Bynum.
The Dallas Mavericks have quickly moved on after being eliminated from the Dwight Howard sweepstakes, and now are carefully and seriously setting their sights on Andrew Bynum according to an ESPN.com report.
The Mavs will proceed with caution due to the knee condition that caused the 7-foot, 285-pound Bynum to miss all of his lone season with the Philadelphia 76ers, the sources...
