Yesterday it was reported that the Atlanta Falcons were discussing a contract with free agent defensive lineman Richard Seymour. It’s
since come out that while the Falcons have expressed interest in Seymour in the
past, there is “nothing serious” brewing between the two sides, according to
Ian Rapoport of NFL.com.

According to Fox Sports South, the Atlanta Falcons and free agent DT Richard Seymour are currently in contract talks.
Seymour, 33, has drawn almost no interest this offseason. The Falcons have limited cap space to work with, so he most likely have to agree to something close the veteran’s minimum in terms of salary for this to get done.
Atlanta could use some additional interior...
Whasappening Raider Nation! Welcome to another thirst quenching installment of Raiderade. The Raiders organization has quietly moved through the draft and free agency somewhat undetected. The Raider players have to maneuver themselves through organized team activities (OTAs), camps, preseason and roster cut downs all in preparation for the 2013 NFL season. It appears the Raiders...
As of Tuesday May 21st, cornerback Charles Woodson, 36, signed a one-year contract with his former NFL team the Oakland Raiders. Recently cut from the Green Bay Packers for salary cap space and because he was an injury risk, Woodson was left to fend for himself if he wished to continue to play the game of football. Having received no real deals for playing time with another team...
The Atlanta Falcons have already made a pair of high-profile
free agent acquisitions this offseason, adding running back Stephen Jackson and
defensive end Osi Umenyiora. Atlanta is continuing its efforts to bolster their
defense, as FOX Sports South is reporting that the Falcons are currently in contract
talks with veteran defensive lineman Richard Seymour.
It’s not clear how...
What up RaiderNation? Welcome to this week’s edition of My Two Cents, with your favorite ancient Raider fan, Old Timer. My apologies to all of our readers for my recent absence from posting. I was back in the hospital again. I had gotten blood clots in my legs from the initial hospital stay, and they broke loose and traveled to [...]
No matter where the team is in the standings or going in the future, Raidernation stands up. The Oakland Raiders are coming off a tough 4-12 year and a significant playoff drought since 2002. However, that has not deterred the silver and black fans from coming out to show Charles Woodson how much they would love to have him back in Oakland.
“I’ll tell you man, it was overwhelming...
According to FOX Sports South, the Atlanta Falcons and free agent defensive end Richard Seymour are engaged in contract talks.
FOX Sports.com and FOX Sports South.com has learned that Seymour and the Falcons are currently in contract talks, although the Falcons do not have a great deal of salary cap room at this point.
It seems like Seymour hasn’t gotten much attention this offseason...
We continue our "State of the Falcons" series as we look at each area of the Falcons and now move on to the linebacker corps. This years LBs will look a lot like last years squad. The Falcons did not use any draft picks on LBs and only signed one in free agency.
The conversation about the Falcons linebacking squad begins with Sean Weatherspoon. Weatherspoon was...
After seven seasons in Green Bay, Charles Woodson will return to Oakland where he says he plans to enter the Hall of Fame as a member of the Raiders (Credit: AP Photo)
After signing a one year deal with the Oakland Raiders, defensive back Charles Woodson will return to the team that he spent eight seasons with and drafted him fourth overall in 1998. Despite spending seven years and...
I have always been fascinated by the NFL draft. As a little kid I remember watching Dr. Z, Paul Zimmerman, use his dry humor to predict what each team was going to do. He was funny and was the first to really break the draft down into what it is today.
Starting in 2000, I started to host a NFL draft party. The first rule was no girlfriends or wives, and that each...
Any day now, we will hear about Atlanta Falcons quarterback Matt Ryan receiving a contract extension worth over $100 million, with probably about a third of that money being guaranteed.
Mixed emotions on this one, I can’t deny it.
