Report: Kam Chancellor fined $40,000

Strong safety Kam Chancellor said Wednesday he had been contacted by the league, but he declined to discuss any fine he received for a helmet-to-helmet hit of Rams tight end Lance Kendricks.Adam Schefter of ESPN.com reported Thursday Chancellor was fined $40,000, which is double the amount of the fine he received a week earlier for a helmet-to-helmet hit of the Ravens' Anquan Boldin.
