Will the UFC be brought into the Biogenesis drama?
UFC president Dana White is hoping that is not the case. He has addressed the possibility, though, after a recent report claimed that UFC athletes were among those connected to the defunct South Florida clinic that has been accused of providing performance-enhancing drugs to players.
"Obviously, it's an athletic commission issue, but it's just one of those things," White said, according to USA Today. "It's just another (expletive) headache I don't need."
No MMA athletes have been named, but White seems interested in catching up on the issue. According to the story, after Saturday night's UFC on FOX 8 event, White asked reporters questions about Biogenesis and the kind of drugs it alleged supplied athletes.
"If a guy signs a contract with me and then comes out on a list, it's not going to be good," he told the site. "It's going to suck."
