If you’ve been paying attention at all this offseason, it’s clear that USC has already found the biggest obstacle it must overcome in 2013 if the team is going to succeed: the injury bug. Of course, wide receiver Marqise Lee is the biggest concern — earlier this camp, he injured his shoulder making a catch, but it was announced that was okay and just suffering from severe bruising.
Unfortunately, Lee re-injured that same shoulder in USC’s scrimmage this afternoon, per USCFootball.com’s Ryan Abraham:
Now Trojans fans have to hope that everything really is okay with that shoulder, or that this won’t become a recurring problem this fall. The only small bright side here is that other receivers have been stepping up as of late.

Superstar USC Trojans wide receiver Marqise Lee's shoulder is feeling good, but he's not feeling nearly so great about his team's "crazy" quarterbacking situation.
LOS ANGELES -- Josh Shaw and Marqise Lee were roommates during training camp before players were allowed to move out of the dorms on Monday morning.
Shaw and Lee had talks at night about how they could liven up practice. The energy had been good throughout camp but they felt they needed more.
Ideally, they started jawing at one another.

The ice cream during practice trend continues. Marqise Lee can't believe Southern California wrapped up training camp Wednesday without choosing a starting quarterback.
''This is crazy,'' the Biletnikoff Award-winning receiver said.
Yet when asked to make the call between Cody Kessler and Max Wittek himself, even Lee acknowledges the difficulty of the decision facing coach Lane Kiffin.
USC’s All-American wide receiver Marqise Lee and coach Lane Kiffin decided to mend their little “tiff” (if you can call it that) over engaging in a kind act of delivering ice cream together to the USC marching band this week. Lee was a bit miffed that his coach had still not picked a starting quarterback and he let the media know his thoughts. Well, just one day later coach...

Southern California has wrapped up training camp without choosing a starting quarterback, and receiver Marqise Lee says the situation is ''crazy.''

The Trojans are in the home stretch of fall camp. Day 17 saw the return of Marqise Lee to full reps, albeit in a yellow no-contact jersey. A freshman linebacker continues to make plays... and the never ending saga of an injured offensive lineman continued.
