It seems like every offseason New York Jets head coach Rex Ryan keeps losing more weight. Well, now he looks even more slender.
Check out the tweet from Bart Hubbuch of the New York Post.
Not being sarcastic here: Rex Ryan’s weight loss is astounding. twitter.com/HubbuchNYP/sta…

Geno Smith has impressed the Jets so much during minicamp that the starting quarterback job reportedly is his to lose, possibly making Mark Sanchez expendable.
The Jets' quarterback depth chart just got a little thinner.
Veteran signal-caller David Garrard told NFL.com's Adam Schein that he's retiring due to his surgically-repaired knee "not holding up."
"Having to call it quits," Garrard wrote in a text to Schein. "My knee is not holding up. Continuing to swell after practices."
The offers haven’t been pouring in for quarterback Tim Tebow since the Jets released him last month. In actuality the only offer the NFL’s most polarizing player has received has been from the Montreal Alouettes of the CFL, who own Tebow’s negotiating rights by the way, and that was to come in and compete for a spot as the backup QB to starter Anthony Calvillo. Not exactly...
David Garrard is out of the New York Jets' quarterback competition.
A person familiar with the decision told The Associated Press on Wednesday that Garrard plans to retire because of lingering knee issues.
The 35-year-old Garrard was signed in March to provide veteran competition for Mark Sanchez. But Garrard, who hadn't played in a regular-season game in the NFL since...
According to Jason La Canfora of CBS Sports, the New York Jets have hired former Cardinals general manager Rod Graves.

Jay-Z has taken the sports world by storm over the past few weeks, and he may have inked yet another big name client.
New York Jets quarterback Geno Smith, who has been looking for a new agent since controversially firing his after dropping to the second round in last month’s NFL draft. There have been rumors that Smith is interested in signing Jay-Z as his new agent, and he only...
Lincoln Haymakers (of the Champions Professional Indoor Football League) head coach Dave Brumagen did the unthinkable and clearly very stupid when he decided to show his players how to take a running back down. Problem is he did it during a game when he nailed Omaha Beef running back R.J. Rollins.
Things like this classy move (sarcasm totally intended there) is what will keep...
Tim Tebow is on the hunt for a new quarterbacking job after being released by the New York Jets, and Ron Jaworski is offering to help him find work. Unfortunately for Tebow, Jaworski, the longtime Philadelphia Eagles QB and current ESPN NFL analyst, is also the opportunistic co-owner of an Arena League team, the Philadelphia Soul
According to the Philadelphia Daily News , Jaworski...
A different quarterback is making himself known in the NFL these days: one Geno Smith, the 39th pick of the draft, by the New York Jets. Sure, he has a lot of pressure, and not a few expectations of saving a franchise mired in drama. To say he has a tall order is not an understatement. So my question is: does he do himself justice by grading himself with an "F" for his efforts...
David Garrard has decided to retire due to a lingering knee injury, according to Adam Schein of SNY and NFL.com.Fantasy Spin:Garrard hasn't appeared in an NFL game since 2010. His retirement means that Mark Sanchez only has to beat out rookie Geno Smith to be the Jets' starting quarterback again.
TMZ caught up with New York Giants co-owner Steve Tisch and asked him about Tim Tebow’s career.
“I think him going from the Broncos to the Jets was not in anybody’s best interest,” Tisch said.
“Had another team picked him up after the Broncos, maybe he’d have a career.”
Tisch just stated the obvious. We all know the Jets didn’t help Tebow at all. They never used...
As the man who compiles Football Nation's Top 100 Quarterbacks Since the Merger list, I'd be lying if I said Tebow was, at this time, qualified for the list. The No. 100 entry, Gus Frerotte, had a rather distinguished career as a journeyman backup, and was one of the best seventh round picks in recent memory.Tebow, to my way of thinking, hasn't quite done enough to surpass...
The Jets are apparently very impressed by rookie quarterback Geno Smith. Brian Costello of the New York Post went so far as to call some within the Jets organization "smitten" with Smith.
That bit of news is great for Geno Smith, who could win the Jets' starting quarterback job over Mark Sanchez and David Garrard. If that happens, Garrard, barring injury, will likely...
New York Giants co-owner Steve Tisch infers that the New York Jets ruined Tim Tebow's career.
Contradicting reports that the maligned rookie is a diva, New York Post columnist Brian Costello says the Jets are “smitten” with Geno Smith and it’s “beginning to look more and more (likely)” he’ll start against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on September 8. Noting there’s a “sense around the Jets that they want Smith to win this thing,” erratic chucker Mark Sanchez...
