PLAYERS: Rex RyanMark Sanchez
TEAMS: New York Jets
I don’t know if there was any confusion on the topic of whether or not Mark Sanchez was alive or not but Rex Ryan cleared it up. “Mark Sanchez is not dead,” the Jets’ head coach said to Seth Walder of the New York Daily News. Thanks a lot Rex. The response came as a typical Rex Ryan question dodge when asked about Sanchez’s future with the Jets. “We’re acting like he’s dead. Mark Sanchez is not dead,” Ryan said, via Seth Walder of the New York Daily News. “Sanchez is going to be 100 percent healthy, guys. It’s not like his career’s over.”-ProFootballTalk.com Rex Ryan did shed a little bit of light on the situation however. “Well again, I’ll say it about anybody. Guys, you know how I feel about all of our players. I never want to lose a player ever. Man Wearing Mark Sanchez Jets Jersey Robs GameStop Video Game Store in Fla. (Photos)

Detectives in Indian River County, Fla. are looking for a “white male with a tan complexion” wearing a green Mark Sanchez Jets jersey, who is suspected of robbing an area video game store. Fortunately for the real Mark Sanchez, there is video evidence that shows that the suspect actually looks nothing like the struggling Jets quarterback. On Thursday, the man in the No. 6 jersey...

Guy Wearing Mark Sanchez Jersey Robs Florida GameStop (Photos)

Mark Sanchez will probably find this story rather funny. In the photos courtesy of Busted Coverage, the man wearing a green Mark Sanchez No. 6 jersey was just caught on camera robbing a Game Stop in Vero Beach, Fla. The TC Palm is reporting that was the second time that same GameStop had been robbed. Witnesses described the gunman as a white male with a tan complexion who wore a...

Sanchez In the 3rd Preseason Game: A Fair Decision

Yes, Jets fans that were more than happy to find an excuse to move on from Mark Sanchez after the 2012 season finally got their wish in the 3rd preseason game against the Giants (albeit in a very unfortunate way). And yes, the game was meaningless (except for bragging rights and a trophy with Snoopy on it – not exactly the Lombardi, but Rex always takes what he can get). But for...

Report: Mark Sanchez Blew Up at Jets’ GM

By all accounts it appears Mark Sanchez has played his last down for the New York Jets. After needing surgery to repair a shoulder injury and seeing Geno Smith have some good games as the Jets” starter, logic would tell you the two sides will part ways after this season. The interesting thing is just what exactly happened between Sanchez and management after the shoulder injury...

According to the New York Daily News, Jets quarterback Geno Smith is the second coming — of Mark Sanchez. Another Substance Suspension for the Jets

Florham Park - Something seemed weird when Rex Ryan was asked to address why tight end Kellen Winslow hasn't been at practice. I'll admit, I came up with some dramatic scenarios. In reality, it's slightly juicy. The NFL announced today that Winslow is suspended for four games for violating the league policy on performance enhancing drugs. This means Winslow won't...

Holmes stays quiet after Rex Ryan suggests he'll probably miss Sunday's game

Santonio Holmes made roughly the same amount of noise in his press conference Thursday as he likely will on the field on Sunday. Rex Ryan suggested Thursday that Holmes will probably miss Sunday’s matchup against the Steelers while the wide receiver was evasive with the media a week after saying “I can’t throw it to myself and catch it otherwise I would.” “The fact he...

New York Jets: They Might Believe, But Are They Serious?

The New York Jets dodged another bullet with their 30-28 win against the Atlanta Falcons. It was a stunning win for the club that was supposed to be terrible this year. Going away and playing in a hostile Atlanta stadium isn’t a walk in the park. But as we see the Falcons fold right in front of our eyes some things aren’t surprising.Head coach Rex Ryan has his players believing...
