So we all know the Colts are most likely drafting Stanford QB Andrew Luck.  According to this tweet sent out by owner Jim Irsay they wanted to make the process as fair as possible and give Baylor QB RG3 a private workout to see what he's got.  RG3's agent denied the private workout, and that says a lot about where his head is at.  Washington.  The Colts have no defense and no offensive players to build around.  At least we know the Skins will shell out the big bucks to get players to Washington.  This move by RG3 should make the Colts pick that much easier.

Here's the best Andrew Luck highlight you've (probably) never seen

Barring the Colts unexpectedly taking Robert Griffin III with the #1 overall pick in the 2012 NFL Draft (although many scouts and front office people think that may be the better decision), Andrew Luck will be the pick. We've already seen a ton of highlights of the Stanford product, and that will only increase over the next few weeks as we approach April 26th, the date for the...

Jim Irsay Has No Luck Getting To RGIII Privite Practice Why?

Colts owner Jim Irsay tweets he couldn’t get a private work out with top draft prospect Robert Griffin the third. Why would Irsay expect RGIII to hold another workout simply so the Colts could have another look at RGIII. Can’t the Colts management make an assessment on what they saw when RGIII held his pro day? The Colts had their people present and they should already know what...

GM Boot camp lesson 3

My advice today for GMs is considerably more simple than the previous lessons: make the most of what you have today. Ryan Grigson: LISTEN UP! The average tenure for a general manager with a team (excluding dictators Jerry Jones and Mike Brown) is 4.2 years. The median for GMs is 3 years. Coaches fare a bit worse with an average of 3.3 years and a mean of 2 years. In other words...

Indianapolis Colts owner Jim Irsay claimed Tuesday that quarterback Robert Griffin III declined an invitation to work out privately for the team. Luck will work out for the Colts on Tuesday in Indianapolis, and...

Colts aren’t the only team Robert Griffin III won’t work out for

According to Baylor University’s assistant athletic director Heath Nielson, quarterback Robert Griffin III will not hold any private work outs for any of the 32 NFL teams.  Instead he decided to limit his work to the Baylor pro day. Now that we have the complete story, Colts owner Jim Irsay doesn’t need to wonder why RGIII decided to not work out for his team. It’s interesting...

Jim Irsay Tweets RGIII’s Agent Declined Private Colts’ Workout

It has been widely speculated that the Indianapolis Colts will draft Stanford’s Andrew Luck with the #1 pick in the upcoming NFL draft. After having released future Hall of Fame quarterback Peyton Manning, Colts’ owner and social media star, Jim Irsay, has been hinting that the Colts are taking a serious look at drafting Baylor’s...Read the Rest...

One-on-one with Kevin Danser

With all attention focused on the battle to replace Andrew Luck, it can be easy to forget that Stanford has to replace a lot of key starters in other areas. Nowhere is that need bigger, literally and figuratively, than on the offensive line, which has to replace two first-round draft picks in Jonathan Martin and David DeCastro.
