Qualifying at Charlotte Motor Speedway for Saturday night’s NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race is complete. The Richard Petty Motorsports teams will line up for the start of the 500-mile event as follows:
17th— Aric Almirola, No. 43 Smithfield Ford Fusion
18th— Marcos Ambrose, No. 9 Stanley Ford Fusion
Forty-seven cars took to the 1.5-mile oval for qualifying today. Greg Biffle, in a Ford, topped the speed chart with a lap of 193.708 miles per hour and will start on the pole Saturday at Charlotte.
The 334-lap NASCAR Sprint Cup Series event begins Saturday, Oct. 13, at 7:30 p.m. ET and will be broadcast live on ABC, PRN Radio and SIRIUS/XM NASCAR Radio.
