Richard Petty Motorsports Bank Of America 500 Qualifying Report

Qualifying at Charlotte Motor Speedway for Saturday night’s NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race is complete. The Richard Petty Motorsports teams will line up for the start of the 500-mile event as follows: 17th— Aric Almirola, No. 43 Smithfield Ford Fusion 18th— Marcos Ambrose, No. 9 Stanley Ford Fusion Forty-seven cars took to the 1.5-mile oval for qualifying today.  Greg Biffle, in a Ford, topped the speed chart with a lap of 193.708 miles per hour and will start on the pole Saturday at Charlotte. The 334-lap NASCAR Sprint Cup Series event begins Saturday, Oct. 13, at 7:30 p.m. ET and will be broadcast live on ABC, PRN Radio and SIRIUS/XM NASCAR Radio.
