Chicagoland is the only current track on the NASCAR circuit, that hosts multiple series, where Roush Fenway has never won. Currently RFR has fielded 90 entries at Chicagoland, while putting up 19 top-five finishes, 36 top 10s and four poles.

While never having won at Chicagoland, Roush Fenway has finished runner up on six occasions in NASCAR action at the track (twice in the Sprint Cup and four in the Nationwide Series), including in the last two Nationwide Series races at the track.

Stenhouse, Jr. on racing at Chicagoland Speedway: “I really enjoy racing at Chicagoland. The track is rough which I like. Our 1.5-mile track program has been stout this year. Earlier this year, we sat on the pole and finished second. After leading 135 laps, we felt like we let that race slip away so we are looking to redeem ourselves this weekend. We currently sit one point out of the lead in the championship battle so we need a strong finish in our No. 6 Blue Bird Ford.”

Crew chief Mike Kelley on racing at Chicagoland Speedway: “We’ve shined this year on the 1.5-mile race tracks. Earlier this year, we dominated the race at Chicagoland but a late caution spoiled our bid for the win. We’re bringing back the same car so we know our Ford will be stout. These final eight races we have to bring our ‘A game’. If we execute on pit-road and keep making the right adjustments during the race, I feel confident we can get this No. 6 Blue Bird Ford into victory lane.”

FAST FACTS: So far in 2012, Ricky has four wins, 15 top-five, and 19 top-ten finishes.

Stenhouse is currently second in the NASCAR Nationwide point standings; 1 point behind leader Elliott Sadler.

At Chicagoland, Stenhouse will pilot the No. 6 Blue Bird Ford Mustang.

Stenhouse has completed 803 of 804 (99.9%) laps at Chicagoland Speedway.

Stenhouse has an average starting position of 5.2 and an average finishing position of 10.8 at Chicago.

Dale Jr.’s Note To His 16-Year Old Self Is The Most Touching Thing You’ll See Today

When we get a chance to talk to Ricky Stenhouse, Jr., I let Burnsy handle it.That all being said, I had to share this clip of Dale Earnhardt, Jr., reading a letter...
