Larry Brown Sports:
Robert Griffin III’s magical touch seems to be limitless. Not only did the quarterback lead the Washington Redskins to a win over the New York Giants on Monday night, but he also was on hand in D.C. when the Washington Wizards beat the Miami Heat for their second win of the season on Tuesday.
RG3 was shown on the jumbotron inside the arena and was one of the focuses of the evening. He received a handshake and special recognition from LeBron James after the game. He also did an interview with CSN Washington where he said he was trying to convert LeBron, a noted Dallas Cowboys fan, into a ‘Skins fan.
“He is a big Cowboys fan, but hopefully we can convert him,” Griffin said of James.
James is one of several notable athletes who have been rightfully impressed with Griffin. He said the Redskins got it right by trading so many picks in order to draft RG3, which is what prompted Griffin’s remark about converting him.
LeBron likely won’t ditch the Cowboys (he’s also a Yankees and Ohio Sta...

LeBron James never got a chance to face off against his idol on the court, as his rookie season came one year after Michael Jordan retired for good from the NBA. In James’ dreams, however, he and His Airness met up in their primes. In all likelihood, that would have been a matchup for the ages.
As it turns out, that showdown does not just occur in James’ imagination. It also...
Earlier today, we featured a clip of Miami Heat star LeBron James not reciprocating a high-five from a fan. For the LeBron fans that I might have offended, here is a nice moment from that Miami Heat/Washington Wizards game that happened in the third quarter of play.As LeBron attempted to go for a steal, he lost his balance and collides with a front row of seats scaring a young Wizards...
LeBron James revealed on Wednesday that the screensaver of his phone is a Photoshop image of himself handling the ball while guarded by Michael Jordan in his prime. “Jordan was my superhero growing up,” James said. “He was the guy I feel helped me get to where I am today. As a competitor, who would not want to go against the best? That’s like asking [Tom] Brady would he want...
Following the Heat’s second double-digit loss to the Knicks, LeBron James took an unconventional approach to dealing with it. He worked out. LeBron hit up the weight room – like Kobe Bryant did following a loss to the Heat in Miami 2011. Lebron’s stat line for the night was impressive, 31 points, 10 rebounds and [...]
From summer training sessions to hyped-up flag football games, it's obvious Kevin Durant and LeBron James are great friends.
The two have never hid their friendship from the public, even during the most tense of times -- like last year's NBA Finals.
But in the world of sports today that centers around TMZ-worthy escapades as much as it does box scores, it seems fans and...
This is LeBron James second victim this year. This kid was ignored so LeBron could meet Robert Griffin III and Redskins linebacker Brian Orakpo.Note to self: If you’re not famous and you’re surrounded by famous athletes, don’t try to shake LeBron’s hand. Better luck next time buddy.

Following a statement win in primetime over the defending Super Bowl champs, the Redskins try to improve to 7-6 Sunday at FedEx Field against the Ravens. Thanks to the arrival of Robert Griffin III, Redskins tickets have been in even higher demand than usual this season, and, at an average secondary market ticket...
In an interesting article by Larry Brown Sports, Miami Heat president Pat Riley is using his ways to make sure LeBron James stays there after his current contract expires. A little way of words is the way to do such a thing. Lee Jenkins of Sports Illustrated explains: Pat Riley stood in the mouth of the tunnel at Boston’s TD Garden, between the court and the locker room, and...
The Washington Wizards can't beat many teams, but they beat the
best: LeBron James and the Miami Heat.
After last nights victory over the defending champion Miami Heat, I think it's only right to pay homage to the Wizards' ongoing rivalry with LeBron James. While most NBA fans have a love hate relationship with the best player in the world, Wizards fans have no love for the guy. For most fans, the LeBron hate started with the ill-fated “Decision” where he announced...
The NBA has fined Nets forward Gerald Wallace $5,000 for his second violation of the league’s anti-flopping policy on Wednesday.
His second violation came during the third quarter of a loss to the Heat in Miami on Saturday. Wallace was defending Heat All-Star forward LeBron James at the free-throw line extended, when James drove hard left towards the hoop. Wallace absorbed minor...
