MILWAUKEE Aaron Rodgers is back for a second inning on the mound in a Milwaukee Brewers uniform. After the first of his ads promoting the sale of Brewers tickets was released three weeks ago, showing his "heat" out of a three-step drop at the mound, the second of five commercials filmed with the NFL MVP was released Tuesday, this time with a special focus on a certain rock on Rodgers' finger. With his real-life good friend Ryan Braun at the plate, a bright glare from the mound stops Braun's approach. "Dude, do you have to wear that thing everywhere?" Braun asks Rodgers. "Oh, this little thing?" he answers his fellow MVP of course, not many pitchers take the mound with 105 diamonds of Super Bowl bling. "I forgot I even have it on sometimes." Brewers pitcher Yovani Gallardo and catcher Jonathan Lucroy also appear in the 30-second spotthis one entitled "Glare". And after general manager Doug Melvin and manager Ron Roenicke critiqued Rodgers' performance on the mound in the team's first commercial his delivery needs work, apparently it's Gallardo who's shaking his head this time. But with two MVP awards and Super Bowl ring between them, Braun and Rodgers shouldn't have too much trouble making any team. The third commercial of five will be released on May 14.
