Liverpool manger Brendon Rodgers has hinted that he doesn’t want to answer any questions regarding the future of Luis Suarez after the striker confirmed that he will stay put at Anfield. Brendon Rodgers had to answer questions on regular based since the transfer window opened in June regarding the transfer saga of Liverpool hitman Luis Suarez’s future. The Uruguayan was heading to one of the Uefa Champions League participants with Real Madrid and Arsenal possible destination for him. Rodgers told gathering press ahead of Liverpool’s clash against Stoke City on Saturday. “Luis Suarez has decided to stay with us, and I believe I won’t answer any questions regarding his situation at club in the near future. “It was tough time for us in the last two months with this speculations about Suarez, I am happy that he changed his mind about leaving the club,” says Rodgers. The Northern Irish manger also added that they don’t have any plans of adding new players in the squad despite selling winger Stewart Downing to West Ham United recently. “We don’t have major targets at this point but we can never rule out an opportunity of signing a player as there is still plenty of time left before the transfer window shuts down.” said former Swansea manager. Liverpool so far signed Kolo Toure, Iago Aspas, Luiz Alberto and Samuel Mignolet but they could lose Danish defender Daneil Agger who is targeted by La Liga giants FC Barcelona.
