Roush Fenway Racing “Driven” in 2013: In 2013, Roush Fenway Racing moves into its 26th season of competing at NASCAR’s highest levels. During that span, RFR has accumulated a NASCAR record 311 victories, earning its historic 300th win in dramatic fashion on last season’s Daytona 500. All-in-all Roush Fenway boasts 130 Cup victories, as well as 131 Nationwide and 50 Truck series wins; both series’ highs. Sprint Unlimited – (Non Points, All-Star Event) Sun. 2.16.13, 8:10 p.m. EST FOX, MRN, Sirius 90 Greg Biffle, No. 16 3M Ford Carl Edwards, No. 99 Fastenal Ford #RFRDRIVEN: After 25 “Winning Years”, a record 300 wins and numerous championships, Roush Fenway Racing remains “Driven”to succeed. To drive the point, RFR launched its 2013 “Driven” campaign at the 2013 NASCAR Media Day. The“Driven” program will include new and increased fan interaction, as well as partner promotions and special events throughout the season. View the Driven Trailer at www.roushfenway.com. Running (Sprint) Unlimited: Roush Fenway will field two cars in Saturday’s Sprint Unlimited “all-star” non-points event (formally the Budweiser Shootout). Both Greg Biffle and Carl Edwards will make starts in this year’s race, with each qualifying based on winning a pole during the 2012 season. RFR won the event in 1999 with Mark Martin in the No. 6 Ford. The organization has fielded at least one car in the race for the past 25 seasons; making its debut in the then Busch Clash in 1989. All-in-all RFR has fielded 51 entries in the Sprint Unlimited, with the one victory and two runner-up finishes. Nine different drivers have driven for RFR in the race. New Name, New Format: This year’s 75-lap Sprint Unlimited will feature 19 drivers and take place under the lights. It will also have a new format, with fans in control of the race format.  Voting for the format ends Wednesday at 11:59 p.m. ET.  Fans can vote on NASCAR.com and on the NASCAR Mobile ’13 app. Debut of the Gen 6: This weekend will mark the debut of the all-new Gen 6 body style in NASCAR. The car will more closely resemble its factory counterpart off the track. In addition to the body style changes, the cars will now carry the driver’s name on the windshield and sponsor marks on the roof. Speedweeks Rewind – Fast Forward: RFR will look to follow up on last season’s impressive Daytona Speedweeks showing that saw the organization sweep the front row in qualifying, capture a Duel qualifying race and cap off the showing with its second Daytona 500 win in the past four seasons. 2013 Roush Fenway Lineup: Veteran NASCAR champions Greg Biffle and Carl Edwards anchor RFR’s 2013 RFR lineup. The duo will be joined in the Sprint Cup Series for RFR by rookie Ricky Stenhouse Jr., who will go for Roush Fenway’s 13th NASCAR rookie of the year award in ‘13. In the Nationwide Series, RFR will field two entries with Daytona 500 winner Trevor Bayne in the No. 6 and action sports legend Travis Pastrana in the No. 60. -Roush Fenway Racing PR
