It has been almost two months since Ryan Braun last made an appearance at Miller Park, but on Wednesday afternoon the suspended slugger couldn’t stay away any longer. After accepting a season-ending 65-game suspension on July 22, Braun has made some moves to rehab his image, but he has managed to stay mostly out of the spotlight, and subsequently, out of the ballpark. On Wednesday, though, Braun stopped by simply to say hello to his teammates and staff members, according to the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel. “He just came in to visit,” Brewers manager Ron Roenicke said. ”He told me a while ago when we talked that he wanted to come in. He didn’t want it to be a distraction. I told him it wouldn’t be. So, he came in and I’m really glad he did. “He looked good. I think all the guys were really happy to see him. He was just in to say hi. He misses the game and he misses the guys, so he wanted to come in and say hi.” The Brewers didn’t gather for a formal clubhouse meeting — like they did on July 22 when Braun explained to his teammates that he had been suspended — and Roenicke was unsure if Braun would make another visit before the end of the season.       Filed under: Anna Fogel, Headlines, MLB
