New Orleans Saints star Jimmy Graham is arguably the best tight end in the NFL, and like many players who find the end zone on a regular basis, he has a signature touchdown celebration. As a former basketball player at 6’7″ tall, the 26-year-old’s celebration is dunking the football over the upright. During Thursday’s game against the Atlanta Falcons, Graham celebrated his second-quarter touchdown with his usual slam dunk, but his incredible strength ended up pulling the goal posts down a bit, leaving them crooked. Check it out in the photo and GIF below, with a hat tip to @CJZero. Jimmy Graham Tweets Response to Leaving Goal Posts Crooked After Touchdown Celebration Slam (Photo)

Yes, Jimmy Graham. “Oops” is correct. The Saints tight end was feeling a bit sheepish after New Orleans took care of the Atlanta Falcons on Thursday night. The Saints did more than just polish off the Falcons’ playoff chances and effectively end their season — they also left the facilities somewhat damaged in their visit to the Georgia Dome. Graham scored a touchdown in the...

Saints offense struggles again without Darren Sproles

With running back Darren Sproles out of the lineup on Thursday night, the Saints passing game was once again sputtering in his absence. The Saints beat the Falcons 17-13 and those are the most important numbers from the game. But many predicted the Falcons defense was ripe for the plucking, having surrendered 30 or more points in their previous three games, all double digit losses...

Adrian Peterson thinks that the league is babying QBs

There has been a lot of talk about the league protecting QBs too much. Adrian Peterson would apparently agree with this assessment. “You think about Drew Brees and the hit he took (against the 49ers). I love Drew Brees. He’s one of my favorite guys to watch, but that hit he took wasn’t a penalty,” Peterson said to FoxSports.com. “So they kind of baby the quarterbacks, but...

Saints RB Darren Sproles inactive against Falcons

The Saints are without running back Darren Sproles against the Falcons. Sproles is inactive for the first time this season after missing practices on Tuesday and Wednesday with ankle and knee injuries. TNF Review: Saints Rise Up In Atlanta

One thing you can usually count on when two divisional rivals meet is that you can throw their records out the window. The Falcons showed right from the start that they came to play with a physical opening drive that resulted in a touchdown. Running back Steven Jackson...

Saints-Falcons a role reversal from last season

Talk about role reversal. When Atlanta hosted New Orleans a year ago, the Falcons were cruising toward a division title and locking up home-field advantage in the playoffs, while the Saints just wanted to get to the end of a disappointing season. The longtime rivals have traded places for Thursday's prime-time game. With coach Sean Payton back on the sideline and Drew Brees...

Saints Nation: Offensive Player Grades @ Falcons

You'd see a 17 point output and think the Saints' offense played miserably, but the Falcons controlled the clock with possession offense and kept the Saints off the field. While the Saints did a good job overall both running and passing, little things here and there would stunt some of their drives. Some of it was a mental mistake, some of it was poor play calls, and some...
