How do you top Will Ferrell's hilarious player introductions prior to the Bulls-Hornets game in February? The truth is, you can't. But if you are Samuel L. Jackson, the best way to try - channel your inner-Pulp Fiction. Prior to the Clippers-Hornets game in New Orleans on Thursday night, the Oscar-nominated actor became the second guest superstar to introduce the starting lineups at New Orleans Arena. And although Jackson played his announcer role pretty much by the book, prior to introducing the Hornets, he morphed into his famous character the assassin Jules from the classic 1994 Quentin Tarantino flick Pulp Fiction in introducing the Hornets with his famous speech: "The path of the righteous man is beset on all sides by the inequities of the selfish and the tyranny of evil men. Blessed is he who, in the name of charity and good will, shepherds the weak through the valley of darkness, for he is truly his brother's keeper and the finder of lost children. And they will strike down upon thee with great vengeance and furious anger those who would attempt to poison and destroy New Orleans. And you will know their name is the Hornets when they lay their vengeance upon thee." Jackson also got the crowd buzzing during his introduction of Chris Paul - returning to New Orleans for the first time since his trade to the Clippers - introducing Paul as "he WAS number one in your hearts and still number three in your program," despite a huge ovation. Jackson is in New Orleans to film "Djano Unchained," his fifth movie with Tarantino. FOX Sports West has been unable to confirm whether or not Jackson dined on a Royale with cheese while enjoying the game.
