Mark Sanchez has had a tumultuous offseason, one that might make most young quarterbacks question themselves.
There has been lots of criticism from fans and media, and even anonymous teammates, the New York Jets' brief flirtation with the idea of bringing in Peyton Manning - and then the biggest trade of the offseason with Tim Tebow coming to town. The presence of the NFL's most popular backup quarterback has many debating not if, but when Tebow will supplant Sanchez as the starter.
Through it all, Sanchez has been saying all the right things and his coaches and teammates have noticed. Coach Rex Ryan says he knew there would be a day when Sanchez would be looked at as a strength and not a weakness, and ''that day is right now.''

Mark Sanchez isn't running from his critics, instead the Jets starting signal-caller is looking to rally his teammates in preparation for Sunday's season opener.
Late last week, Joe Theismann said Jets QB Mark Sanchez is too nice and that Sanchez will have to show off his "cojones" this season. Theismann was not endorsing Super Beta Prostate at the time.
How did Mark Sanchez react to the news that the Jets had acquired Tim Tebow? Maybe not quite as well as we've been led to believe.
The good folks at NOC TV have created a nifty Tebow/Sanchez-themed spin on Maroon 5′s “Payphone”. Check out the below video of a song that you really never want to hear, but the video makes it worth it.
I’m in the end zone watching Tim Tebow
Hoping that someone helps with his aim
Don’t care that Rex is playing Mark Sanchez
Jesus is trying to win some games
Sigh. Another day, another chapter in the Mark Sanchez-Tim Tebow-New York Jets-Quarterbacking-Conundrum saga. According to a report from the New York Daily News, Sanchez cracked a joke about Jets owner Woody Johnson’s pro-Tebow comments last week when the man who signs Sanchez’s paychecks said, “I think you can never have too much Tebow.” Proclaiming later that [...]
The fine folks over at the New York Post decided to have a little bit of fun with their NFL preview front page as they decided to depict the New York Giants as champions and the Jets as circus performers.
Check out the front page which includes Rex Ryan as a clown:

Mark Sanchez or Tim Tebow, play-action pass, run or wildcat formation: Mario Williams isn't worried about what the New York Jets might have in store for the Buffalo Bills defense this weekend.
Whatever it might be, the defensive end can't see how it'll blunt the Bills' new-look and high-priced pass rush.
''No,'' Williams said, repeating the word...
The Jets haven't even opened their regular season, the circus is already in full effect. The biggest storyline for this year's version of Gang Green centers around the men under center -- the quarterbacks. The Jets grabbed back page supremacy this offseason by trading for Tim Tebow. It was a move that garnered plenty of fanfare, while also putting some pressure on incumbent...
The following are 10 things I expect to see throughout this year’s 2012 NFL season.
10. Tebow will steal Sanchez’s Thunder All Season Long
Tim Tebow may only make one pivotal play that converts a difficult redzone opportunity for a score, but it will be enough for many to call for a QB change all season. Mark Sanchez is about to become the unappreciated housewife of the New...
The 2012 Jets season will represent the end of the deliberation on multiple topics within the court of fan opinion. Head Coach Rex Ryan promised a Super Bowl win to the fans and everyone else who’d listen. His QB Mark Sanchez, was at the helm for both of those campaigns. Dubbed the “Sanchize” when he was drafted out of USC after only 1 year as a starter, there’s been...

“I don’t care what I hear,” Ryan told the Daily News on Thursday. “So it doesn’t matter. They can yell, they can do all they want. Mark is our quarterback and that’s...
