Sara McMann (Pictured), the third hottest name currently in female mixed martial arts, will make her Strikeforce debut against Liz Carmouche at “Strikeforce: Cormier vs. Mir.”
MMAFighting confirmed the November 3rd scrap on Friday afternoon.
McMann has blasted out of the MMA gates since capturing an Olympic silver medal at the 2004 games. She owns an blemished 6-0 record, with her most recent victory coming in a unanimous decision against Shayna Baszler at “Invicta FC 2.”
Carmouche will be riding a two-fight winning streak into the scrap. The 28-year-old dropped her last two bouts prior to embarking on her current run.
Chesapeake Energy Arena in Oklahoma City hosts the festivities.
Showtime will broadcast the main card beginning at 10PM ET/PT.
Here is the event’s current lineup:
Sara McMann vs. Liz Carmouche
Lorenz Larkin vs. Luke Rockhold (Strikeforce middleweight champion)
Frank Mir vs. Daniel Cormier (Strikeforce heavyweight grand prix champion)
