England’s Premier Aston Villa 3 Manchester City 2 Despite the loss of Christian Benteke, Villa came back twice to beat City in an exciting match and big win for the home side. Andreas Weiman’s tap around Joe Hart sealed the win as it rolled into goal past the outstretched leg of Nastasic. Manchester United 1 West Brom 2 United loses for the second time in two weeks in this poor performance at Old Trafford against West Brom. A calm chip by Morgan Amalfitano and a beatiful winner by Berahino gave the Baggies the win despite another free kick goal by Rooney. Tottenham 1 Chelsea 1 Strong start by Spurs, but the second half signaled a change with John Terry heading in an open header off a Juan Mata free kick. Torres was Chelsea’s primary force moving forward and was unlucky to be sent off with his second yellow card, although his clawing of Jan Vertonghen drew some well-deserved criticism.   Swansea City 1 Arsenal 2 Aaron Ramsey’s golden boot continues to deliver fortune for the Gunners, who started slow but two goals in ten second half minutes against Swans was enough today. In news that won’t shock the sporting world, Mesut Ozil has good footwork. Fulham 1 Cardiff City 2 Two gorgeous goals by Bryan Ruiz and Jordon Mutch, with Cardiff winning off Mutch’s extra time gem. Hull City 1 West Ham United 0 Hull wins off an early penalty, but the highlight comes in a review. Yes, a review. The most exciting review since the goal-line technology was thankfully introduced to the Premier League this year. The Hammers had a good shot at a penalty in their own favor late in the match, but the ref was having none of it. Southampton 2 Crystal Palace 0 Summer signing Pablo Osvaldo scored first for Southampton and Ricky Lambert followed it up with a fine free kick of his own to seal the three points.   Elsewhere in Europe Bayern Munich 1 Wolfsburg 0 A goal from Thomas Müller gave Bayern the win with an exciting midweek European match against Manchester City. Borussia Dortmund 5 Freiburg 0 Lewandowski and Marco Reus scored twice each as Dortmund puts up five on Freiburg to keep their unbeaten streak alive in the Bundesliga. Almeria 0 Barcelona 2 Barca won their record seventh to start the season behind goals from Messi and Adriano, however the Greatest of Right Now was subbed off with a hamstring pull. PSG 2 Toulouse 0 It took tries for Marquinhos to tap home the first goal and Cavani’s penalty sealed the win for PSG, who takes the lead in Ligue 1 for the time being. Genoa 0 Napoli 2 Pandev scores twice and Napoli look in good form ahead of the Champions League matchup with Arsenal.   Still To Come Real Madrid v Atletico Madrid The Madrid Derby begins with Atletico leading in the table (albeit six games in, less than one sixth of the season) coming off the controversial win against Elche midweek. AC Milan v Sampdoria Slow start for Rossoneri leaves them in 12th place with only five points from five matches and only a few days before hosting Barca in the Champions League. Golazo du Jour Bryan Ruiz (Fulham) v Cardiff City Jordon Hutch’s may have been more important, but Ruiz had the aesthetic advantage with this 25-yard curler for Fulham in the loss.   videos via 101greatgoals Article found on: Next Impulse Sports
