In the end it wasn’t Pitt. It wasn’t Wake Forest. It wasn’t West Virginia or Rutgers. Fordham and their coach Tom Pecora landed the NYC shooting guard. Severe cited playing time but especially the chance to stay local. Just have to wonder why he couldn’t have figured it out a bit sooner.

VA QB talks spring game visit

Graham Smith, a 6-foot-185-pound quarterback from Lunenburg Central High School in Victoria, Va, visited Wake Forest on Saturday to check out the action in the Demon Deacons annual Spring Game. Although Smith is still a sophomore, he's become a hot prospect after leading the Chargers to a record of 21-6 the past two season as a starter.

VA DL makes second visit to Wake

Tyler Powell has been a 2014 prospect high on Wake Forest's radar for awhile. The big 6-foot-4, 250-pound defensive lineman from Cosby (Va.) High School in the Richmond area came to campus for his second visit of the year for the annual Spring Football Game at BB&T Field. He talked with about the experience.
