UPDATED: 4:05 p.m. Steve Smith expects to see a lot of one-on-one coverage from the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday. He also expects to beat it. Smith, the Giants’ No. 1 receiver, said today that he believes the Eagles cornerbacks are “good” and “savvy,” but they are also vulnerable to big plays. “I think sometimes they get caught with their eyes in the backfield,” Smith said. “You can run right by them sometimes. We’re not going to be surprised if we’re wide open down the field on a play. “(The big plays) are going to be there. There are going to be a few plays where we’re wide open.
