Larry Munson, Georgia Bulldogs' legendary voice, has died
ATHENS, Ga. Larry Munson, the voice of the Georgia Bulldogs for nearly 43 years, has died. He was 89.
The university says Munson died at his Athens home of complications from pneumonia. The death was reported by Munsons son, Michael.

ATHENS, Ga. (AP) -- Larry Munson, the voice of the Georgia Bulldogs for nearly 43 years, has died. He was 89.

Todd Grantham's Georgia defense was ready to take the lead. Georgia's top tailback, Isaiah Crowell, lasted only two carries on Saturday against Kentucky before leaving with an ankle injury. Crowell's top backup, Carlton Thomas, did not play after breaking a team rule. That wasn't the plan, especially with a spot in the Southeastern Conference championship game on the line.
