NORMAN, Okla. — The Sooners have struck first in Bedlam 2013 edition, knocking off in-state rival Oklahoma State 80-61 Sunday afternoon at Lloyd Noble Center.

Nicole Griffin scored 21 points and Sharane Campbell and Joanna McFarland each posted double-doubles Sunday as No. 23 Oklahoma routed No. 22 Oklahoma State 80-61.
The Sooners (18-5, 8-3 Big 12) took the lead for good at 27-26 late in the first half, held a 31-28 edge at halftime, then shot 53 percent in the second half to turn the Bedlam rivalry game into a runaway.
