Sopel will join Blackhawks at the White House

Staff report Brent Sopel will be reuniting with his old Blackhawks teammates on March 11, according to canadiens.com. "I got my invite and the team was nice enough to let me go since it's between games. I'm quite excited for that experience," shared Sopel, who is now with the Canadiens after being traded to the Thrashers in the offseason. "I'll make my way down to Washington on the 11th and have some fun at the White House. I don't know what the details are yet, but anytime I can see the Stanley Cup with my name on it, it never gets old." Every Hawks player from the 2010-11 team has been invited, including those who have departed for other locales.
