Give him the gears about having been banished to the nether world of the American Hockey League. “Nothing’s off limits for those guys,” the big defenseman quipped. “But you wouldn’t have it any other way.” The ribbing doesn’t bother Souray, because it’s yet another reminder of the journey he has traveled to the far end of the hockey spectrum and back.
