CaneInsider has learned from a source close to the player that Miami Hurricane running back Duke Johnson will miss the remainder of the football season with an ankle injury.  The severity of the injury is unknown, however, a source confirms to CaneINsider that Johnson will be ‘out for the season.’  The injury was suffered during the Miami Hurricanes Saturday November 2nd contest against Florida State at Doak Campbell Stadium. Johnson carried the ball in the second half and appeared to be sat on by two players and his legs were folded beneath him as the players above him piled on.  His ankle (right) was bent awkwardly and later Johnson was carted off the field.  Prior to his injury, he had amassed 97 yards on 23 carries in the game.  Johnson also left the North Carolina with an undisclosed head injury two weeks ago. The Miami Hurricanes feel to Florida State 41-14 on Saturday and will look to rebound at home against Virginia Tech on Saturday November 9th.
