The St. Louis Blues begin the regular season Thursday night at home against the Nashville Predators, part of a five game home-stand to open up the regular season including a game against the defending Stanley Cup Champion Chicago Blackhawks. This will be the first of five meetings with Nashville this season. The Blues finished with a 3-1 record against the Predators last season.
After finishing up the pre-season slate at 3-2-1, the Blues will drop the puck Thursday night at Scottrade to being the full 82 game slate this season.
The roster is now down to the appropriate 23 player roster as Chris Porter has been assigned to the AHL Minor League affiliate Chicago Wolves.
No starting lineups or goaltenders have been announced yet.
Thursday night’s start time has been moved back from 7:00 p.m. CT to 7:30 p.m. CT on Thursday due to accommodate the timing of the N.L. Wild Card winner and Cardinals NLDS Game 1 also in St. Louis, which that is set to begin at 4:07 p.m. CT.
