Why Nick Leddy is Struggling
Of the Hawks recent skid, the most noticeable wart has been their second defensive pairing. During these three games, and probably a little longer than that, Nick Leddy and Niklas Hjalmarsson have been just plain awful.
Leddy's getting most of the headlines about it, which isn't fair because part of his struggles can be attributed to Hammer being completely non-existent...

The Versus Game of the Week; Chicago at Pittsburgh
I saw the Blackhawks the other day, live when they were in St. Paul to play the Wild. I have to tell you, they are a team that I definitely don't mind seeing again. While many people like a brutish, physical game, I like watching a gifted skill player in action, and the Blackhawks have a few that can buckle some knees or break some ankles or whatever, depending on what flaws...
