After the Cardinals first walk-off win of the season earlier today, players for the 2013 All-Star game have been announced today during the MLB All-Star Game Selection Show on FOX. The St. Louis Cardinals will be sending five players to the 2013 All Star Game in New York (Citi Field) to represent the National League, the most of any team in the National League.  Catcher Yadier Molina and OF Carlos Beltran have been named the starters. Yadier Molina, the National League leading vote getter with 6,883, 258 votes, will be making his 5th All-Star selection of his career and Carlos Beltran will be making his 8th selection. Matt Carpenter and Allen Craig are on the All-Star reserves, both making their first career selection. Adam Wainwright has been named to the National League pitchers, making his 2nd career All-Star selection.
