Found November 05, 2012 on NFL Injury Report:
Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Antonio Brown suffered a “mild” high ankle sprain during yesterday’s win over the New York Giants, according to coach Mike Tomlin. Several other Steelers were injured during the game, including running back Chris Rainey (ribs), Adrian Robinson (quad) and safety Will Allen (stinger). Brown said that he would be able to play next week despite his high ankle sprain, an injury that generally causes players to miss significant time. Tomlin admitted after the game that the team doesn’t know Brown’s status for next week at this time. Antonio Brown said high ankle sprain but back next week. That doesn't add up but whatever. — Mike Garafolo (@MikeGarafolo) November 5, 2012 Rainey was on the ground for several minutes after sustaining his rib injury during a kickoff return. The trainers had a hard time getting him off the field, much less to the locker room. While he doesn’t see much action out of the backfield for the Steelers, Rainey is an important part of the team’s return game as he showed yesterday. Steelers: False Rumor About Chris Rainey Injury Spreading

Chris Rainey was speared by a Giants player in the ribs on a kick return today during the Steelers 24-20 win. The play should have received a flag as Rainey was down and the play was blown dead before the Giants player made the hit on Rainey. No flag was thrown, however, and before making it to the sideline Rainey collapsed on the field. He was taken to a local area hospital following...

Is Antonio Brown Paying For The Emmanuel Sanders Cramp?

While I was not a fan of Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Antonio Brown backpedaling 20-yards into the end zone on the punt return last week against the Washington Redskins, I think him being fined $10,000 is way too harsh. To put that in perspective, the Baltimore Ravens were fined $20,000 by the NFL this past week for previously not listing free safety Ed Reed on the injury...

Clearing Up Misinformation Regarding Promotion Of Players Off The Practice Squad

A reader sent me an email question regarding my post about the Pittsburgh Steelers potential need to sign a wide receiver off of the practice squad in case Antonio Brown is unable to play next Monday night against the Kansas City Chiefs.
